British consumer tech startup Nothing is setting out to secure the wireless earbud market in earnest with the launch of its third wireless earbuds featuring high-resolution sound quality and upgraded next-generation voice technology.

Nothing launched its new wireless earphones, the 'Ear (2)', on the 23rd. The new product features Nothing's iconic transparent design and offers richer sound quality and a user experience that is even more upgraded than its predecessor, the 'Ear (1)'.

The Ear (2) is certified for Hi-Res high-resolution audio quality and supports the LHDC 5.0 codec. This model boasts deep bass and clear sound quality through its unique dual-chamber design and 11.6mm custom drivers. In particular, Nothing's upgraded next-generation Clear Voice Technology combines three built-in microphones with an AI noise reduction algorithm, allowing users to experience call quality as if it were a real conversation.

Ear (2) provides various convenient features. The 'Dual Connection' feature allows you to connect to two devices, such as a mobile phone and a computer, enabling multitasking. This is useful in situations where the user cannot hear a notification or needs to switch to their mobile phone.

In addition, Ear (2) provides customized services that take into account the individual characteristics of the user. The active noise canceling (ANC) function of Ear (2) can be adjusted in 3 levels and effectively provides noise canceling by reflecting the user's external environment.

Through the Nothing X app, users can create personalized sound profiles and adjust gesture controls and EQ settings to customize playback in real time. Additionally, press controls allow for one-touch, customized functions such as skipping tracks, switching active noise canceling modes, and adjusting volume via the Nothing X app.

The Ear (2) product can be used for up to 36 hours with ANC turned off. It supports up to 2.5W wireless charging, and with fast charging, it can be charged enough for up to 8 hours of use in just 10 minutes. The earbuds are IP54 rated for water and dust resistance, and the charging case is IP55 rated.

Ear (2) will be exclusively released through the limited edition trading platform KREAM, and product information can be found on the Nothing official website.

The domestic launch price is 189,000 won, and orders can be placed on the KREAM app and website on the coming 28th.
