Neopass (Chairman Lee Byung-gu), an advanced semiconductor specialist company, has joined hands with the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Cho Hee-yeon) to foster specialized semiconductor technical workforce and establish a vocational education system.

Neopass announced on the 24th that it has signed an MOU with the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education to revitalize semiconductor education.

This business agreement was established to share educational expertise and specialized capabilities between both institutions and promote mutual cooperation in fostering specialized technical workforce in the semiconductor field and establishing a vocational education system to strengthen the technological competitiveness of South Korea's semiconductor industry.

Previously, Neopass launched "CocoaFab," an education brand based on future technologies such as SW coding and artificial intelligence, and has been leading the way in cultivating future talent in South Korea. Neopass CocoaFab has already jointly planned and operated leading educational programs such as AI expert cultivation courses with the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education for several years and has received high praise from schools in the field.

Building on this business agreement, Neopass and the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education plan to organically develop and promote various activities for semiconductor education revitalization and future talent cultivation, including △linkage for operating high school credit system such as out-of-school education in the semiconductor field △cooperation in operating semiconductor education curriculum at the (tentatively named) AI Convergence Career and Vocational Education Center △training programs to strengthen teacher competency in the semiconductor field.

Neopass Chairman Lee Byung-gu expressed his expectations, stating "Through this agreement, by implementing leading semiconductor education without discrepancy from industry practice together with the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education, we will be able to contribute to cultivating outstanding semiconductor workforce and strengthening South Korea's national competitiveness."
