ON Semi, a leader in intelligent power and sensing technology, contributes to extending the driving range of smart electric vehicles by supplying silicon carbide devices to the premium electric mobility brand ZEEKR.

Onsemi announced on the 26th that it has signed a Long-Term Supply Agreement (LTSA) with Ziker.

ON Semi plans to supply Elite Silicon Carbide (EliteSiC) power devices to enhance the powertrain efficiency of Ziker's smart electric vehicles (EVs), thereby improving performance and charging speeds and extending driving range.

Ziker plans to adopt ON Semi's EliteSiC MOSFET, 1200V, M3E, which features enhanced electrical and mechanical performance and reliability, to support its expanding high-performance electric vehicle portfolio. These power devices provide improved power and thermal efficiency, reducing the size and weight of traction inverters and improving the driving range of electric vehicles for automakers.

Through a new long-term supply agreement, both companies are setting out to build a stronger supply chain relationship to support Ziker's growth over the next 10 years.

Meanwhile, Ziker is a premium electric mobility brand established to meet global demand for premium electric vehicles.
