Mouser Now Stocking Murata Type 2BZ Wi-Fi + Bluetooth Module

Mouser Electronics™, the industry-leading New Product Introduction (NPI) distributor with the widest selection of semiconductors and electronic components, is now offering Murata Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules to help develop IoT and handheld wireless applications.
Mouser announced today that it is now stocking Murata's Type 2BZ Wi-Fi® + Bluetooth® module (LPEE5XV2BZ).
The Type 2BZ Wi-Fi + Bluetooth module provides engineers with a dual-band, small form factor wireless connectivity solution for power-sensitive applications such as the Internet of Things (IoT), handheld wireless, gateways, smart home, and industrial applications.
The Murata Type 2BZ Wi-Fi + Bluetooth module from Mouser Electronics is a compact, high-performance wireless connectivity module based on the Infineon CYW54590 combo chipset.
Featuring highly sophisticated and enhanced collaborative coexistence hardware mechanisms and algorithms, the Type 2BZ module provides PHY (physical) data rates of up to 866 Mbps for Wi-Fi and up to 3 Mbps for Bluetooth, ensuring optimal collaboration between wireless local area networks (WLANs) and Bluetooth.
The WLAN section of the Type 2BZ module is SDIO (Secure DigiIt supports the Bluetooth Input Output (V3.0) interface, and the Bluetooth section supports a high-speed 4-wire universal asynchronous receiver/transmitter (UART) interface and PCM (Pulse Code Modulation) for audio data.
WLAN operation in IEEE 802.11ac mode provides up to 256 QAM (Quadrature Amplitude Modulation) rates on 20MHz, 40MHz and 80MHz channels, and supports Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac with 2×2 MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) + 5.2 BR/EDR/LE (Bluetooth Basic Rate/Enhanced Data Rate/Low Energy).
This product has a maximum operating temperature of +85°C and comes in a very small form factor for size and power-sensitive industrial applications.
