Silicon Labs Opens Registration for Premier IoT Developer Conference 'Works With 2023'

A developer conference covering more than 40 of the latest Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, including brief previews of Silicon Labs' next-generation platform for IoT, will be held in August.
Silicon Labs (Country Manager Baek Woon-dal) announced on the 1st that it has started accepting applications for its 4th annual Works With conference.
This virtual conference will be held online for free for two days on August 22 and 23 (U.S. local time).
This industry-leading developer conference features over 40 in-depth technical sessions covering all major Internet of Things (IoT) protocols and ecosystems.
These technical sessions, led by Silicon Labs engineers and industry experts, are designed to help developers understand, simplify, and accelerate IoT product development.
Silicon Labs CEO Matt Johnson briefly introduces the company's next-generation platform in his opening keynote speech at the conference.
This next-generation platform is set to be built upon the success of Silicon Labs' Series 2 hardware and software integration platform, which was specifically designed for IoT.
Silicon Labs CEO Matt Johnson said, “I have very high expectations for Silicon Labs Works With 2023.” “This event has established itself as one of the industry’s key events, and this year is no exception,” he said. “We are pleased to be able to provide the developer community with advance information on Silicon Labs’ next-generation platform. This will allow developers to envision how to utilize the platform’s advanced features. The new platform will demonstrate performance improvements that go a step further than the Series 2 platform, which is already leading the industry.”
The Silicon Labs Works With 2023 track covers key trends in Bluetooth, Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN), Matter, and Wi-Fi technologies, as well as IoT security, artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML), and emerging market segments such as connected health and smart cities.
Lectures for each session will be delivered by Silicon Labs engineers and field experts from the industry-leading ecosystem, partners, customers, and alliances, and live Q&A sessions will be held during each session.
The keynote speeches will be given by Silicon Labs CEO Matt Johnson on the topic of 'The Golden Age of IoT Development' and by Silicon Labs CTO Daniel Cooley on the topic of 'A Connected Future at a Glance'.
