DeepX, a company with core AI semiconductor technology, has accelerated its efforts to expand into Taiwan by participating in Computex, Taiwan's largest IT exhibition. The company's win at the concurrently held InnoVEX 2023 Startup Awards is considered a testament to its technological prowess and commercial viability in Taiwan.

DeepX, an artificial intelligence semiconductor source technology company, announced on the 16th that it participated in the 2023 Computex Taipei, Asia's largest IT exhibition, and showcased its technology and products to Taiwanese and Chinese companies.

DeepX participated in this exhibition to lay the foundation for entering the East Asian market, and unveiled four models based on its independently developed AI semiconductor source technology, 'DX-L1, DX-L2, DX-M1, and DX-H1', as well as various real-time AI operation processing application demos.

In particular, at the DeepX booth, visitors to the site were actively introduced to DeepX's solution strategy consisting of four types that are expected to be able to respond to various market needs, as well as its strength in being able to smoothly implement AI operations even in resource-constrained environments. As a result, it is known that it has received favorable reviews as a technology with high mass production potential, along with inquiries about cooperation in developing AI hardware application systems through DeepX products.

DeepX also participated in the startup contest held at 'InnoVEX 2023', and among the 400 startups from 22 countries that participated, DeepX was selected as one of the top 10 in the global startup category judged by international investors.

In the final round, the company achieved the feat of winning second place at the Startup Terrace Awards, in recognition of its innovative core technology and commercial potential that will drive the global market. With this award, DeepX will receive a prize of $20,000, as well as access to collaborations with Taiwanese companies and support from global investors to enter the Taiwan market.

The person in charge of DeepX’s strategy planning said in his acceptance speech, “DeepX participated in this Computex Taipei exhibition and introduced DeepX’s products and technology to representatives from leading Taiwanese OEM companies such as Foxconn, Wiwynn, and Inventec, and was recognized for its commercialization potential and mass production performance.” He also said, “DeepX, which secured the source technology for Korean-made AI semiconductors in Taiwan, one of the global centers of logic semiconductors and fabless, has laid the foundation for entering the Taiwanese market.”

He continued, “This year, DeepX will do its best to commercialize its products and strive to become the first Korean company to lead the global market based on original technology in a cutting-edge field that the world is challenging.”

'2023 COMPUTEX Taipei' was held in Taipei, Taiwan from May 30 to June 2, and was fully open to international visitors for the first time in four years since 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the International Trade Development Council and the Taipei Computer Association (TCA), which host COMPUTEX, this year's event received high interest, with approximately 48,000 visitors.

Meanwhile, DeepX participated in the '47th Korea-Taiwan Economic Cooperation Committee' hosted by the Federation of Korean Industries (FKI) of Korea and the Taiwan International Economic Cooperation Association of Taiwan. It also had the opportunity to build networks with Taiwanese government officials, investors, and businesspeople and expand its business, including attending a welcoming event hosted by Taiwan on May 31 and a joint meeting with 100 entrepreneurs from both Korea and Taiwan on June 1.
