u-blox (Country Manager, Kwang-soo Son), a global leader in location tracking and wireless communication technology, has secured network flexibility for its SARA-R510M8S LTE-M module through KT certification.

u-blox announced on the 6th that its SARA-R510M8S module has obtained KT's LTE-M network certification.

The SARA-R5 series is designed to target the LPWA IoT application market, such as industrial automation, sensor applications, connected health, metering, asset and vehicle tracking, and telematics.

By developing all technical function blocks using proprietary technology and retaining ownership of the entire hardware and software, u-blox is able to guarantee long-term availability for devices and provide continuous support for the entire platform down to the chipset level.

Samuele Falcomer, Senior Manager of LPWA Products at u-blox’s Cellular Product Center, stated, “As an undisputed global leader in LTE-M and location tracking technology, u-blox is pleased that our product SARA-R5 has received certification from KT. This module is certified by Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services IoT Core.
