Choi Ki-young, newly appointed as the new CEO of Snowflake Korea, will leverage global resources and diverse customer experience to support customers in creating business value through data.


Snowflake, a global data cloud company, announced on the 17th that it has appointed Kiyoung Choi as the new CEO of its Korean branch.

Kiyoung Choi, who will be responsible for overseeing Snowflake's domestic business and go-to-market strategy, is an expert with over 30 years of experience in the cloud and enterprise software industries.

He has been supporting clients in the enterprise software services sector, leveraging his technical foundation, marketing, and management capabilities, honed through his experience as an executive at a global IT company.

Snowflake plans to expand its data cloud platform's business in Korea to support domestic partners in various markets, including manufacturing, finance, retail, distribution, and entertainment.

Prior to joining Snowflake, CEO Choi served as the Korean branch manager for Google Cloud, Adobe, and Autodesk Korea, where he oversaw the enterprise solutions business, and also served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Microsoft Korea.
