NXP Semiconductors and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Mahindra), a leading Indian automotive and agricultural equipment manufacturer, have joined hands to advance the next generation of smart e-mobility.

NXP today announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Mahindra to collaborate on a wide range of electric connected vehicle environments, including utility vehicles, light commercial vehicles, agricultural machinery and tractors.

Through this collaboration, Mahindra plans to leverage NXP's extensive portfolio of expertise in area and domain controllers, electrification, advanced vehicle networking, secure car access technologies, and innovative automotive system solutions for its upcoming platforms.

This furthers Mahindra's goal of providing innovative solutions to enhance customer safety, environmental friendliness, and driving enjoyment.

Mahindra will leverage NXP's partner ecosystem consisting of Tier 1s, ODMs, IDHs, module suppliers and integrators. Additionally, we were able to gain insight into NXP's technology roadmap, which includes areas where synergies can be created, such as smart homes and industrial sectors.
