Mouser announced its participation as a sponsor in the 2023 Korean Society of Automotive Engineers (KSAE) University Student Self-Built Car Competition held at Saemangeum Automotive Race Track in Gunsan, Jeonbuk from August 25-27.

The KSAE University Student Self-Built Car Competition is the largest-scale automotive competition among those participated in by university students nationwide, serving as an idea competition that enhances students' interest and enthusiasm for automobiles through a process where students personally handle every stage from conceptualization, design, manufacturing, and maintenance of vehicles.

The University Student Self-Built Car Competition, which began in 2007, marks its 17th edition this year, with approximately 1,900 students from 100 teams at 65 universities nationwide participating in this competition.

Participating teams displayed their accumulated technical skills and capabilities across three competition categories: Baja, an off-road racing event; Formula, a dedicated track racing event; and a technical division that evaluates technical ideas and design.

This is Mouser's first time participating as a sponsor in the KSAE University Student Self-Built Car Competition.
