Mouser Supplies Sensirion Car Humidity and Temperature Sensors

Mouser announced on the 21st that it is supplying Sensirion's SHT4xA relative humidity and temperature sensor.
The SHT4xA, an automotive-grade digital sensor providing high 16-bit accuracy, can measure relative humidity and temperature in different accuracy classes and was developed to meet the most demanding application requirements, especially in the automotive sector.
Sensirion's SHT4xA relative humidity and temperature sensor is designed to operate in harsh automotive environments through accelerated life tests such as 85°C/85%RH and is currently available for purchase at Mouser.
The SHT4xA sensor has achieved AEC Q100 rating and features a powerful on-chip heater equipped with advanced on-board diagnostics capable of self-decontamination and periodic creep compensation in applications where humidity is maintained for extended periods.
The SHT4xA sensor is ±2%RH at ±0.2°C and 0% to 100%RH at -40°C to 125°C. Accuracy tolerance can be achieved, and the operating voltage range is 2.3V to 5.5V.
The SHT4xA sensor, available in a 4-pin, Dual-Flat-No-Leads (DFN) package suitable for Surface Mount Technology (SMT) processes, can handle different accuracy classes and provides I2C or Pulse-Width Modulation (PWM) interfaces, and for the Wettable Flank option, supports automated optical inspection based on a rugged DFN package.
Additionally, the SEK-SHT40A-AD1B, a temperature evaluation kit for evaluating the SHT40A sensor, is available for purchase from Mouser. This kit includes three SHT40A sensors on an FPCB and a 1-meter RJ45 adapter cable. The SEK-SHT40A-AD1B evaluation kit is designed to work with Sensirion's environmental sensing kit, the SEK-SensorBridge.
