SAP has diversified its cloud services and accelerated innovation to help customers maximize the benefits of cloud technology.

SAP announced the 2023 release of SAP S/4HANA Cloud, private edition, a Premium Plus package for RISE with SAP, and the RISE Transformation and Modernization Program as new offerings.

The SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition 2023 release marks a significant milestone for SAP and its customers, easing their transition to the cloud. This release delivers enhanced capabilities built on collaboration, intelligence, networking, and a sustainable, state-of-the-art cloud-based ERP system.

Specifically, it delivers the full functionality of the SAP ERP Central component, while integrating Finance, Manufacturing, Operations, and Supplier into a single cloud platform with industry-specific applications based on a modern architecture.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition, part of Rise with SAP, will follow a two-year release cycle going forward, delivering innovations and improvements essentially every six months. The maintenance period has also been extended from 5 to 7 years, providing greater value for your investment.

Rise with SAP customers can choose the package that best drives business performance, including the new Premium Plus package.

The Premium Plus package provides tools to make faster, better decisions and maximize the impact of AI across your business processes.

SAP also unveiled a program that combines tools, expert services, and cloud migration incentives to support customers' cloud transitions. The new RISE Transformation and Modernization Program offers customized services tailored to each customer's unique circumstances.

The program includes the Rise with SAP adoption framework to plan the transition and the SAP Signavio process insights solution to build a business case.

Additionally, the SAP Customer Evolution kit is a new, free service that supports your transition to SAP S/4HANA Cloud by providing 1:1 sessions with SAP experts to assess the optimal transition path. The kit provides a customized, actionable transition plan in a short period of time.
