NVIDIA (CEO Jensen Huang), a leader in AI computing technology, has joined hands with the Korea Standards Association and Hancom Academy to foster AI research and development personnel.

NVIDIA announced on the 13th that it will be opening a new 'NVIDIA AI Academy'.

The NVIDIA AI Academy is a course selected through the '2023 Second Half K-Digital Training Course Competition' of the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Vocational Ability Test and Assessment Service. Regardless of major, anyone who wishes to find employment in the AI field and can obtain a National Tomorrow Learning Card can participate.

Additionally, the tuition is fully subsidized by the government, so you can take the course for free.

The NVIDIA AI Academy will be held in two rounds, with the application period running from October 4th to October 31st. Both rounds will be recruited together. Students will be selected through document screening, coding tests, and interviews, with the final successful candidates announced on November 10th. The first round will begin on November 20th, and the second round will begin on December 11th, with approximately 960 hours of offline training over approximately six months.

The recent launch of ChatGPT has brought large-scale language models (LLMs) and generative AI to bear across industries. With the fields of application expected to diversify in the future, accelerated computing training and practical training for specialized professionals in computer vision, conversational AI, natural language processing, cybersecurity, and data science are becoming increasingly essential. To address this, NVIDIA has launched the NVIDIA AI Academy to address the talent shortage and technological gap by training AI development and research personnel.

The curriculum consists of △C, C++, Python, Embedded Basics △Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence Basics △Advanced Artificial Intelligence, Image Processing, Natural Language Processing Model Design △NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute Advanced Artificial Intelligence Course △Practical Projects.

Academy students will be provided with hands-on experience using NVIDIA GPU cloud servers and NVIDIA Jetson boards. Benefits include resume and portfolio editing, access to partner job information, and job placement assistance. Upon completion of the course, students will receive an NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute Global Competency Certificate and receive six months of post-completion support to support their careers.

Additionally, if you are selected as an excellent graduate, you will have the opportunity to participate in the NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute Certified Instructor Certification Program.

Meanwhile, the NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute is an educational institution with over 400,000 developer students worldwide. To develop its curriculum content, the institute collaborated with global industry partners, framework communities, and universities to develop hands-on training courses that cover end-to-end project building and deployment methodologies for industries such as healthcare, robotics, and manufacturing.

In 2023, 2 classes of 27 students each, a total of 54 students, will be selected, and the recruitment period is from October 4 to 31, 2023. You can check detailed information and application procedures here.
