Samsung Electronics proposed a smart life connected through 'SmartThings'.

Samsung Electronics showcased a smarter and more convenient smart life based on connectivity at 'KES 2023 (Korea Electronics Show)' held at COEX in Seoul from October 24th to 27th.

Samsung Electronics has created a 'Smart Town' space where visitors can experience SmartThings connectivity along with innovative home appliances and mobile products under key themes such as energy, pet care, games, and health.

'Smart Town' consists of a 'Smart Home' designed to meet the diverse interests and tastes of families, and a 'Smart Park' where you can experience Samsung Electronics' latest products.

First, the "front door" of the smart home introduces tips for saving electricity bills. Through SmartThings, users can monitor energy usage, manage progressive tariffs, and check projected electricity bills at a glance. "AI Saving Mode" and "Carbon Intensity Insights" allow users to check energy and carbon savings.

'Living Room' provides smart pet care tips. With the "Home Camera 360" and "Bespoke Jetbot AI," families can monitor their pets' health in real time while out and about, and remotely play music or white noise to create a relaxing environment. Furthermore, with the newly released "Galaxy SmartTag 2," users can check their pet's walking records through the "SmartThings Pet Care" walk mode.

In the 'Hobby' themed space, you can play various games without a separate console through the 'Gaming Hub', and you can also experience the gaming monitor 'Odyssey OLED G9', the world's first 57-inch dual UHD resolution 'Odyssey Neo G9', and the Odyssey Arc. You can also experience the Galaxy ecosystem that maximizes connectivity by linking Galaxy devices, such as △Samsung Multi Control △Second Screen △Quick Share.

In the "Rest" area, you can experience a smart health management routine using the Galaxy Watch6. In addition to measuring health indicators such as stress, blood pressure, heart rate, and electrocardiogram, you can also receive sleep coaching to improve your sleep quality.

In the 'Kitchen', you can find Samsung.com's 'e-Food Hall', a shopping platform with the concept of an 'appliance restaurant' that connects home appliances and food. Additionally, you can experience smart cooking functions such as ScanCook, which sets the optimal cooking values on the Bespoke Cooker by scanning the meal kit and convenience food barcodes with the SmartThings app.

We also operated a 'Bespoke Home Meta' experience zone where you can find products that suit your home by matching Samsung Electronics Bespoke products with the interior of a virtual home composed of various concepts.

At Smart Park, the latest mobile products such as the Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Tab S9 series, and Galaxy Watch 6 series were displayed, along with innovative products such as Micro LED TV and Bespoke Grande AI washing machine and dryer that was unveiled at IFA 2023 last September.

Kim Sung-wook, Vice President of Samsung Electronics Korea, said, “We have designed this exhibition so that consumers can experience the connectivity between Samsung Electronics products and SmartThings in a natural and impactful way in their daily lives, reflecting their interests and tastes.” He added, “We will continue to showcase various technologies and services that lead innovation in everyday life through the integrated connectivity experience of Samsung home appliances, mobile devices, and IT devices.”
