Unveiling a New Unstructured Data Access Security Product

As data management complexity grows, SailPoint unveils an enterprise-grade identity security platform.

On the 8th, SailPoint held a press conference at the Glad Hotel in Yeouido and announced the launch of its SailPoint Data Access Security product. Building on this, the company also unveiled its identity security platform, "SailPoint Atlas."

“Enterprises are still at a rudimentary stage in identity security and are struggling to manage unstructured data. Identity security is no longer a security issue, just like smartphones are essential to us, but a business issue,” said Chern-Yue Boey, President of Sailpoint Asia Pacific. “Sailpoint provides a solution that automates and integrates data and application access management.”

As preventing internal breaches becomes increasingly important, along with external hacking, organizations are struggling with the increasing complexity of data management. According to Sailpoint, there are currently 2 quadrillion relationships generated from approximately 100,000 identities. Recently, the concept of zero trust has emerged as a hot topic in the industry, granting only the necessary permissions to the necessary systems.

Sailpoint Data Access Security provides an integrated solution that empowers businesses to grant each identity access to only the data they authorize. This solution ensures secure access to unstructured data while intelligently controlling access to critical data and intellectual property, reducing the risk of data breaches. It also enables businesses to securely protect access to critical data by analyzing their own data and resources.

Sailpoint emphasized simplicity and integration as a means of providing secure access to identities. "The environment is complex, but the solution must be simple," they explained. Sailpoint emphasized that "Sailpoint Data Access Security products are fast, autonomous, and integrate with existing systems," adding, "We automate complex environments with AI and minimize human intervention."

The Atlas platform, introduced today, is a next-generation, multi-tenant SaaS platform that provides the necessary elements to build, maintain, and scale a robust enterprise-grade identity security program. Based on the SailPoint Identity Security Cloud, it offers a variety of services that simplify and accelerate the operation of corporate identity security systems.

Sailpoint Atlas can support enterprises' identity security journey across multiple aspects.
