LG Innotek (CEO Moon Hyuk-soo) has been recognized for achieving a 113% increase in exports over the past three years, making a significant contribution to Korea's national export growth.

LG Innotek received the '10 Billion Dollar Export Tower' award at the 60th Trade Day.

The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea International Trade Association hold an awards ceremony each year on December 5th, Trade Day, to commend companies that have pioneered overseas markets and contributed to enhancing the nation's export competitiveness.

At the awards ceremony held under the theme "60 Years as a Trading Nation, Korea Running Again," LG Innotek received the '10 Billion Dollar Export Tower' award. CEO Moon Hyuk-soo of LG Innotek directly received the 10 Billion Dollar Export Tower award from President Yoon Suk-yeol, who attended the ceremony.

Established in 1970, LG Innotek has continuously developed advanced innovative materials and components related to optical solutions, substrate materials, and automotive electrical components, growing into a company leading the global market. The company previously received the '5 Billion Dollar Export Tower' award in 2014.

LG Innotek's export performance, which stood at approximately 8.8 trillion won in 2020, reached 14.1 trillion won in 2021 and 18.6 trillion won last year. Exports surged 113% in just three years. Particularly in 2022, the export ratio relative to sales exceeded 95%, earning recognition for making a major contribution to national export growth.

Since 2011, LG Innotek has maintained the global market share leadership in the camera module field and is developing and manufacturing globally leading products in various sectors including high-value-added communication semiconductor substrates such as RF-SiP and display substrates.

LG Innotek was able to achieve such high export ratios by proactively preparing for future industry paradigm shifts and changes in business environment while continuously strengthening differentiated technologies and production capabilities. As a result, the contactless era accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic became an opportunity for new growth.
