Rockwell Automation, the world's largest industrial automation and digital transformation company, has contributed to its ongoing social contribution activities by supporting single mothers through the voluntary participation of female employees.

Rockwell recently announced on the 21st that it had donated baby supplies and snacks to the Salvation Army Duri Home Single Parent Family Support Center, a welfare facility for single mothers.

This donation of goods is an annual event held by Rockwell Automation's in-house women's leadership group, 'PWC (Professional Woman Council),' and the proceeds from an in-house lunch box donation event were used to purchase the sponsored goods.

The Salvation Army Duri Home is Korea's smallest women's welfare facility that provides free accommodation, protection, childbirth, childcare, and independence to single mothers who are isolated from their families and society, helping them prepare for a new beginning.

“I am delighted that we can continue to carry out meaningful donation activities for underprivileged neighbors every year through the voluntary participation of our female employees,” said Lee Yong-ha, CEO of Rockwell Automation Korea. “Going forward, Rockwell Automation will continue to contribute to the local community through various social contribution activities with its employees.”

Meanwhile, Rockwell OtomeE-Sion has consistently engaged in social contribution activities every year, donating to the local community through in-house bazaars, marathons, and lunchbox donation events. Furthermore, the company has been donating goods to the Salvation Army Duri Home since 2017.
