The Radio Promotion Association of Korea (RAPA) announced on the 2nd that it opened a '5G Terminal Verification Center' located in Yongsan-gu, Seoul.

RAPA opened a 5G terminal verification center that automatically verifies terminals and issues test results using 5G verification equipment (MT8000A, MD8430A, RTD) according to KT's verification scenario.

The center supports quality verification of KT's 5G terminals and is equipped with conference rooms and test rooms.

RAPA automatically verifies terminals according to KT's verification scenario using 5G verification equipment (MT8000A, MD8430A, RTD) and issues test results.

This result can help KT expedite product launch by replacing functional verification (SAT) when introducing terminals from the manufacturer, and shorten the verification and commercialization period by providing a debugging environment for non-conforming terminals during KT's quality verification stage.

RAPA's 5G quality verification service is being applied for through the RAPA IoT Technology Support Center website.

RAPA Vice President Song Jeong-su said, “Based on professional technology and industry support capabilities in the field of radio and communications, we are able to help small and medium-sized enterprises quickly produce products. “We expect that this will help accelerate the growth of the industry by supporting the launch of new products,” he said.
