ZEISS Korea (CEO Hyun-Seok Jeong), a German company with a strong presence in the semiconductor materials sector, will introduce various semiconductor-related solutions based on German optical technology at SEMICON Korea 2024.

Zeiss announced that it will participate in 'SEMICON Korea 2024', which will be held at COEX in Seoul from January 31 to February 2.

At this event, Zeiss Korea will showcase its optical technology and various equipment and solutions used in key semiconductor processes through a technology symposium and booth participation.

SEMICON Korea 2024, a global semiconductor industry exhibition, is an annual event where visitors can witness the growth of the semiconductor industry and the latest semiconductor manufacturing technologies.

This year's event, themed "Innovation Beyond Boundaries," will feature not only an exhibition but also various side events, including a technology symposium featuring global semiconductor experts as speakers.

From the Zeiss Group, Dr. Heiko Feldmann, Senior Director Technology Roadmap at the headquarters, will be speaking on 'EUV optics at ZEISS' and explain how Zeiss' optical technology contributes to improving productivity and resolution of EUV.

The announcement stated that 0.33 NA (Numerical Aperture)We will share information about the first generation EUV optical system of the company and the optical module that achieved 0.55 NA using anamorphic magnification delivered to ASML for the first time.

The Zeiss Group is a leading German optical company with a history of over 175 years, beginning with the microscopes of its founder, Carl Zeiss.

In the semiconductor field, the company possesses a diverse portfolio ranging from optical lens modules and photomask solutions, which are key elements of DUV and EUV lithography, which are attracting industry attention, to process control, material and packaging 3D analysis, and measurement.

It is also a strategic partner of ASML, the world's only EUV lithography supplier.

Zeiss Korea will showcase various solutions used in the semiconductor ecosystem and key processes such as packaging at its booth located in Hall D, COEX, Room 418.

Representative solutions include 'ZEISS AIMS® EUV' and '3D Tomography metrology solution' for evaluating defects related to EUV photomasks.

AIMS® EUV can verify photomask defects using Aerial Image technology.

It is also an actinic mask measurement system that helps improve the performance of image analysis and data processing automation using the EUV AutoAnalysis software package. 3D Tomography is a device that creates a three-dimensional image by using a scanning electron microscope (SEM) module to create a single layer using a focused ion beam (FIB).

This enables nanometer-accurate semiconductor pattern sampling, analysis, measurement, and verification.

In addition, we will introduce the ZEISS Xradia 630 Versa, a cutting-edge high-resolution 3D X-ray solution that utilizes non-destructive analysis, and the ZEISS Crossbeam laser that enables effective sampling for various analysis methods.

High-resolution surface and material images obtained through the lowkv analysis method of ZEISS GeminiSEM can be used for accurate analysis of semiconductor materials and packaging.

In addition, the ZEISS METROTOM 1500, an industrial CT product that can be used in semiconductor component manufacturing, and a precision measurement 3D measuring machine can also be seen at the booth.
