Analog Devices (ADI) announced today that Richard C. Puccio, Jr. will be appointed Executive Vice President (EVP) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of ADI, effective May 5th.

In his new role, Puccio will be responsible for setting ADI's financial strategy and leading the company's global financial operations.

Mr. Puccio, the new CFO, joins ADI from Amazon Web Services (AWS), a leading global cloud and technology services provider.

Working closely with business units at AWS, he managed over 200 complete service businesses spanning a wide range of technologies, including computing, storage, databases, robotics, machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), mobile, and security.

Prior to AWS, he worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) for approximately 29 years, including more than 20 as a partner. At PwC, Puccio primarily served clients in the global technology, semiconductor, and semiconductor capital goods industries.

Meanwhile, Vice President Puccio earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Harvard University and an MBA from Boston University.
