A forum will be held to discuss strategies for building smart factories based on IIoT-based digital twin and robot technologies.

e4ds news will host the ' 2024 IIoT Innovation Day ' event on Friday, March 29, starting at 10:00 AM in Conference Room 327 (South) at COEX.

This event will be held at the entire COEX venue alongside the '2024 Smart Factory & Automation Industry Exhibition,' featuring 500 companies and 2,000 booths.

Digital transformation utilizing new technologies such as IIoT-based digital twins, intelligent robots, big data, and AI across industries to overcome challenges in industrial sites and meet the increasing demand for non-face-to-face servicesA ring is being formed.

In the morning session of the first part of the event, Professor Im Chae-seong of Konkuk University will give a presentation on the 'International Standardization Strategy for Industrial Digital Twins,' and Director Joo Seong-cheol of the Korea Industry 4.0 Association will discuss the 'Sector-specific Utilization Strategies for Industrial Digital Twins.'

Following this, in the second afternoon session, I2 CEO Lee Soon-yeol will present implementation plans for companies facing difficulties in actually adopting robots, under the theme of "Strategies for Introducing Field-Customized Intelligent Robot Systems for Smart Factories." Additionally, Smart Machine & Factory CEO Park Han-gu will give a presentation on "Trends and Case Studies of Robot and AI-Based Quality Discrimination Technology."

Following this, Hyun-kyu Lim, Senior Vice President of Hyundai Robotics, will share examples of robots being introduced into various processes at manufacturing sites under the theme of "Introduction to Robot Application Cases."
