Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, a global leader in digital reality solutions combining sensors, software, and autonomous technology, and Hanseo University have joined hands to foster next-generation software convergence talent.

Hexagon announced that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Hanseo University on the 13th to promote the development of SW convergence fields, including aviation and mobility, in order to spread the value of SW in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

At the signing ceremony for the MOU held at Hanseo University, Hanseo University President Ham Ki-sun and Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence Korea President Sung Brian signed on behalf of the two parties and pledged continuous cooperation through the cultivation of key talent and joint research.

Based on this agreement, Hexagon will contribute to fostering talent in the field of SW convergence through academic and educational cooperation, such as joint research, education, seminars, and competitions, and promote material and human resource exchanges to secure SW competitiveness in the Chungnam region.

Through the signing of this MOU, current students will utilize Hexagon’s solutions, which are also used by major global aviation companies, to gain diverse educational opportunities as well as practical experiences such as field training, internships, and industry mentoring. I am also expected to receive job support.
