Mouser Electronics, a New Product Introduction (NPI) leader™ that drives innovation, is taking the lead in fostering future engineers and innovators.

Mouser announced on the 2nd that it participated as a sponsor of the Ten80 Education STEM Challenge National Finals, held from April 26 to 27 (local time) at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina, USA.

The Ten80 STEM National Competition is the final competition that highlights and celebrates the achievements of Ten80 participating students and teams who competed in regional and national competitions using the skills they acquired during their school year in fields such as science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), as well as entrepreneurship.

Analog Devices (ADI), a major manufacturer partner of Mouser, also participated as a sponsor.

The Autonomous Electric Vehicle (AV/EV) and Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) teams in the Ten80 Racing division are utilizing engineering capabilities and the latest technology in creative ways to enhance their personal, academic, and professional competencies.

They gain experience in solving problems based on creativity and critical thinking, as well as communicating and collaborating as a team.

Students cooperate and compete through offline events and online point races.

In addition, through Good Investigative Practice (GIP), opportunities are provided for all students to contribute to a team by participating in engineering, coding and automation, design and manufacturing, graphic design, marketing, community service, and data-driven design projects according to their interests.

Ten80's first team of engineers and educators was formed in the late 1990s to support project-based learning for professional development.

For over 20 years, Ten80 has developed an inclusive and data-driven STEM education philosophy and framework that is accessible and engaging to all students through grants from the National Science Foundation, longitudinal studies, and K-12 (compulsory education) educators.

This organization has established itself as a leader in major events related to STEM education and industry, and was selected by STEMWorks as one of the four exemplary and scalable initiatives.

K-12 schools and groupJobs and professionals are launching STEM activities or strengthening existing programs and initiatives through collaboration with Ten80, curriculum, competitions, and workforce pipeline events.
