SAP Korea (CEO Shin Eun-young) and Samjong KPMG (Chairman Kim Kyo-tae) have joined hands to facilitate cloud transformation in the public and financial sectors.

SAP announced on the 17th that it will collaborate with Samjung KPMG on SAP S/4HANA cloud conversion and new deployment projects in the public and financial sectors.

The signing ceremony, held in conjunction with the SAP Public Summit, was attended by SAP Korea CEO Shin Eun-young and Samjung KPMG Consulting Division CEO Park Sang-won, among other officials, who discussed future cooperation plans.

Through this partnership, SAP will provide technical and sales support for Samjung KPMG's SAP S/4HANA cloud deployment project in the public and financial sectors.

In particular, the plan is to share information and resources necessary for obtaining and maintaining domestic certifications for business promotion, while also cooperating on business opportunities outside the public and financial sectors.

The domestic public and financial sectors require government cloud-related security certification, so adoption of cloud ERP is lagging compared to private sectors like manufacturing and service industries, which are actively adopting it. This partnership is expected to generate synergy based on the regulatory compliance and implementation know-how of both companies, based on years of government policy review.

SAP Korea offers a specialized ERP implementation model tailored to the public sector's cloud requirements. This model, unlike the standard SAP cloud ERP model based on hyperscalers, is offered in two forms: a subscription-based model based on a domestic CSP (Cloud Service Security Certification)-certified CSAP, and an on-premise, build-to-order model. This allows domestic public sector customers seeking to adopt SAP S/4HANA Cloud to choose the model best suited to their individual needs.
