'Nitrogen' SWCNT improves performance of secondary battery cathode materials
Dr. Han Jung-taek and student researcher Lee Do-geun from the Nano Convergence Research Center at the Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute (KERI) have developed a manufacturing technology for 'silicon-nitrogen-doped carbon composite anode material' that secures high capacity and high stability of lithium-ion battery anode materials, and expectations are gathering that this will be able to overcome the limitations of silicon in the future.

Dr. Park Young-jin's team at the Auditory Cognition and Brain Function Research Group under the Electrical Medical Device Research Division of the Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute (KERI) is receiving significant attention for their challenge in developing technology that can early detect high-risk groups of 'mild cognitive impairment,' a general precursor stage to dementia, through analysis of daily conversation in elderly populations.
