ETRI, CDMA Commercialization Technology First Listed in IEEE Milestone
CDMA technology, which achieved the world's first commercial success in 1996, has been registered in the Milestone program of the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), a globally authoritative professional organization. The CDMA project was led by ETRI, with Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics, Hyundai Electronics, Maxon Electronics, and SKT participating in the joint research.
