Samsung Electronics, 2Q semiconductors drive performance, sales of 74 trillion won
Samsung Electronics achieved strong operational results in the second quarter of 2024, driven by improvements in memory semiconductors. Based on consolidated financial statements, revenue reached 74.068 trillion won, representing a 23.4% increase compared to the same period last year, and operating profit reached 10.444 trillion won, a 1,462.3% increase year-over-year. Net income for the period reached 9.841 trillion won, up 471% compared to the same period last year.
