Teledyne Lecroy demonstrated its technological prowess in electronic signal analysis by introducing equipment capable of accurately and easily analyzing signals that are difficult to analyze in communication systems with high data volumes.

Teledyne LeCroy participated in the Semiconductor Exhibition (SEDEX 2024), held at COEX from October 23 to 25, and showcased various measurement equipment.

Teledyne LeCroy is a global company that manufactures and sells various measurement instruments capable of capturing and analyzing electronic signals, such as oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers, network analyzers, and arbitrary waveform analyzers.

At SEDEX 2024, three product families were exhibited: the PAM4 signal analyzer, 10Base T1S automotive Ethernet, and network analyzer.

Pulse Amplitude Modulation (PAM) signals can use more voltage signal levels than the traditional digital signal coding scheme Non-Return-to-Zero (NRZ), so each signal symbol period can transmit more bits of logical information. This is used in communication methods where a large amount of data is exchanged, but since it is difficult to analyze with existing NRZ analyzers, a PAM4 signal analyzer must be used.

Teladyne LeCroy's PAM4 signal analyzer features a UI that allows for an intuitive viewing of PAM4 signals, enabling users to grasp PAM4 signal accumulation, pulses, and patterns at a glance, and provides tools that allow customers to easily analyze signals through diagrams.

In addition, it provides 12-bit resolution and 65 GHz bandwidth, satisfying the level of high-end equipment.

10Base T1S Automotive Ethernet is an Ethernet product that can be used in automotive communications where large amounts of data are exchanged, such as in autonomous driving, cameras, and video applications. It is capable of decoding, table display, eye diagrams, and even mask display over the signal.

The network analyzer is available at one-third the price of existing products. It features a compact size, a modular design for easy portability, minimized risk of short circuits, and an intuitive UI capable of displaying frequencies, times, and eye diagrams.

It supports automatic calibration by allowing you to input cable values, and since you only need to install the software on your laptop, it can be used while on the go.
