NVIDIA unveiled its new compact generative AI supercomputer, the Jetson Orin Nano Super Developer Kit, on the 19th.

NVIDIA explained that the software upgrade increased performance and lowered the price compared to the previous model. Compared to the previous model, the generative AI inference performance is improved by 1.7 times, the performance is increased by 70% to 67 INT8 TOPS, and the memory bandwidth is increased by 50% to 102 GB/s.

The new palm-sized NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano Super Developer Kit brings generative AI capabilities and performance to everyone from commercial AI developers to AI hobbyists and students—all at a reduced price of $249, down from $499.
