Hilscher, a leading company in the field of industrial communication and automation, won the Innovation Product Award at the 19th MM Modern Manufacturing-New Automation Forum held in China for its 'SPE Media Switch' product.

This award was given in recognition of the efficiency and speed of data transmission provided in industrial settings by utilizing SPE technology.

The SPE media switch quickly and efficiently transmits additional sensor data to PLCs (programmable logic controllers) and other devices, minimizing the burden on control networks and increasing integration potential.

“This technology will further expand the scenarios applicable to various IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) applications, such as predictive maintenance,” the developer in charge predicted.

This product contributes significantly to innovative data collection and management methods, especially by making it easy to integrate new sensors into existing networks.

The Korea Institute of Machinery and Industry Information, which hosted the MM Modern Manufacturing - New Automation Forum, and the German magazine MaschinenMarkt-Vogel, awarded the SPE media switch product with two additional awards in addition to the Innovation Product Award. Hillscher also won the AI Application Innovation Award and the Intelligent Solutions Award, recognizing its technological prowess and market competitiveness.
