Siemens Digital Industries Korea, a leading global company in industrial automation and digitalization, is accelerating the development of practical talent based on digital twins.

Siemens Digital Industries Korea announced on the 18th that it has officially launched the first training session of the 'Siemens XDT Academy' as part of the 'K-Digital Training' program hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.

This training program aims to cultivate professionals who can be immediately applied in industrial settings through a practical curriculum centered on digital twin technologies essential in the era of digital transformation.

Siemens designed a curriculum that integrates hardware and IT technologies, leveraging its industrial automation and digitalization capabilities.

In the basic course, you will lay the foundation for building a digital twin, focusing on factory automation operation technology (OT) such as PLC, HMI, and motion drive. In the advanced course, you will learn how to implement a digital twin using advanced IT technologies such as AI, robots, and automation system linkage.

Through a curriculum that combines theory and practice, students will develop the ability to apply the concept of digital twins to real-world industrial environments. In the practical project stage, they will directly implement various digital twin projects, such as autonomous driving systems for automated guided vehicles (AGVs), robot control systems, and logistics systems.

Through this, trainees are expected to grow into digital talents equipped with the core competencies necessary to build a smart manufacturing environment.
