Nubicom, Korea's largest distributor of electronic measuring instruments and an official distributor of National Instruments (NI), is maximizing the test development productivity of domestic engineers with new software incorporating AI capabilities.

Nubicom announced that it has started supplying the 'NI Nigel™ AI Advisor' and the lightweight version 'NI SystemLink™ base', recently released by Emerson, in the domestic market.

With this announcement, engineers will be able to introduce AI capabilities into NI software such as LabVIEW™ and TestStand™, and remotely manage distributed test equipment via SystemLink.

Emerson, a global leader in industrial automation technology, unveiled two new technologies applicable across the NI portfolio in the U.S. on July 22.

Nubicom provides NI Nigel™ AI Advisor and NI SystemLink™ base to engineers with its own technical support.

NI Nigel™ AI Advisor is an AI assistant that analyzes LabVIEW and TestStand code in real-time based on Large Language Models (LLM) to suggest optimization solutions.

Users can look up the usage of hundreds of functions and receive code improvement recommendations using only natural language commands, andAll operations are processed in a secure cloud environment, ensuring data security.

Nigel, first unveiled at NI Connect 2025, is scheduled to be further integrated into various NI software such as NI FlexLogger™ and Structural Test in the future, and plans to support increased productivity for global engineers through the provision of free licenses.

NI SystemLink™ base version is a platform that allows the entire test facility to be centrally configured, monitored, and managed.

Remotely control all NI equipment, including PXI, CompactRIO™, and DAQ (data acquisition devices), to strengthen collaboration between geographically dispersed laboratories and manufacturing sites.

The new version integrates natively with LabVIEW, TestStand, and FlexLogger, significantly reducing initial setup time, and accelerates decision-making through dashboard and device calibration report features.

It is also designed to be cost-effectively utilized even in small-scale engineering environments.
