LG Electronics has set a new standard for premium home cinema with active Micro LED.

LG Electronics announced on the 20th that it has launched a new Micro LED product, 'LG Magnit Active Micro LED (model name: LSAH007),' which features active matrix technology capable of individual pixel control.

This new product is the top-of-the-line model in the LG Magnit lineup, featuring an extra-large 136-inch screen (approx. 3m wide and 1.7m high), 4K (3,840x2,160) resolution, and a 1 million to 1 contrast ratio. By applying active matrix technology—a type of Micro LED, a self-emissive display where each pixel emits light on its own—it delivers much finer image quality than the existing passive matrix method.

LG Electronics provides a comfortable viewing environment that minimizes light reflection with proprietary module surface treatment technology and reduces eye strain through a flicker-free design. The speakers built into the left and right sides support up to 4.2-channel surround sound and a total output of 100W, and the eARC function plays high-quality audio sources without loss, delivering cinema-quality sound.

With the 6th generation AI α9 processor that analyzes the video creator's intent and support for a 144Hz high refresh rate, it provides a screen optimized for sports or gaming content. In addition, equipped with the webOS platform, users can enjoy various content such as LG Channel, OTT, and games on an extra-large screen, and with a 'LG Gallery Plus' subscription, they can decorate their home like an exhibition hall with famous paintings and game illustrations.

It ensures uniform color and a wide viewing angle through Dolby Vision HDR technology and TUV Rheinland color consistency certification, and is also safe, having passed FCC electromagnetic compatibility certification and BSI flame retardancy tests.

This product will be launched in global markets, starting with Korea and including North America, and there are plans to expand into a video wall format to target the B2B market in the future.
