Rockwell Automation, Inc., a global leader in industrial automation and digital transformation, has further strengthened its position in the industrial software market by setting a new standard for the design of small automation systems.

Rockwell announced on the 29th that it has officially launched 'FactoryTalk® Design Workbench™', free design software specialized for microcontroller systems.

This new product provides a high-efficiency design environment for equipment makers and manufacturers dealing with small, standalone automation systems, and was introduced as Version 1, compatible with the Micro800™ controller.

FactoryTalk Design Workbench is an all-in-one design platform featuring an integrated workspace for programming, configuration, and troubleshooting.

In particular, it is expected to provide practical solutions to companies in various industrial sectors, such as packaging, water and sewage, agriculture, and material handling, that are struggling due to long development cycles, fragmented tools, and limited flexibility.

This software adopts a modern UI that provides the same user experience as the existing Logix product family, accelerating user adaptation, and maximizes work efficiency through improved download speeds and online workflow enhancements.

Also Micro810&reThe multi-device support feature for the latest Micro800 Lx0E controller allows for the simultaneous management of multiple controllers, further simplifying the troubleshooting process.

This software is provided free of charge and is designed to enhance compatibility with various automation devices in the future, based on a scalable architecture. This is expected to enable a wide range of users, from small and medium-sized manufacturing companies to R&D departments of large corporations, to implement efficient automation solutions.

Meanwhile, Rockwell Automation plans to officially unveil the FactoryTalk Design Workbench at the Automation Fair®, to be held in Chicago, USA, on November 17. The event will provide participants with the opportunity to experience the software firsthand and practice various functions through hands-on labs and technical sessions.
