It is expected to be of great help in commercializing next-generation mobility by presenting a vision for future mobility that transcends technological boundaries and by providing a venue for industry-academia-research cooperation and the establishment of a global network.

On November 14th, the international conference 'D-G2CAM 2025: Beyond Boundaries, Into the Future of Mobility' will be held at the International Hall of Dankook University's Jukjeon Campus.

This event was designed to provide a forum for exploring the future direction of innovation in the mobility industry, which will integrate cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), semiconductors, batteries, power electronics, and control systems, and to lay the foundation for global cooperation.

D-G2CAM 2025 is co-hosted by Dankook University, G-RISE, Gyeonggi-do RISE, and Yongin-si RISE, and experts from leading technology countries around the world, including Korea, Germany, China, Japan, and the United States, will participate to share technology trends and research results.

In particular, a network of cooperation among industry, academia, and research institutes on the topic of 'AI·energy·human fusion'Work-building and talent development strategies will be intensively discussed.

The event will begin with an opening ceremony at 10:00 a.m., followed by keynote speeches and technical presentations by experts from various countries.

Dr. Kim Chul-woo of the Korea Electronics Association (KEA) will present "Future Mobility Talent Development Strategies in the Era of AI-Based Industrial Convergence," while Dr. Han Tae-young of the Fraunhofer Institute in Germany will introduce "Future Mobility Trends and Strategic R&D Activities." Professor Quan Quan of the Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in China will present "Control and Performance of Lifting-Wing Multicopters," providing a glimpse into future technologies in the aerospace sector.

The afternoon session will feature presentations on key technologies such as automotive power semiconductors, structural batteries, smart stator-based motor control, and hybrid power conversion systems. Dr. Jet Chang of STMicroelectronics will present on "Innovation in Automotive Power Semiconductors Amid Global Trade Uncertainty," and Professor Lee Byung-sun of Dankook University will introduce "Structured Battery Technology for Mobile Device Electrification." Professor Kan Akatsu of Yokohama National University in Japan and Professor Yeon-Ho Jeong of the University of Rhode Island in the U.S. will also present the latest technologies in motor control and power electronics, respectively.

Beyond simple technology announcements, D-G2CAM 2025 focuses on strengthening collaboration between industry, academia, and research institutions, and establishing an international joint research network. In particular, practical exchanges between companies and researchers will take place through exhibition booth operations and poster sessions, which will hopefully lead to the commercialization of next-generation mobility technologies and synergy in convergence research.

At the Dankook University International Hall, the venue for the event, corporate exhibition booths will be open from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, offering opportunities to experience the latest technologies and products firsthand. A poster session will begin at 3:30 PM, offering a glimpse into diverse research achievements.

The event will be held at Dankook University's International Building, located at 152 Jukjeon-ro, Suji-gu, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do. Access is by shuttle bus from Exit 3 of Jukjeon Station or bus no. 24, 40, or 720-3 from the bus stop in front of Exit 1. From Jeongja Station, take intercity bus no. 8100, 1101, or 102.
