AI must no longer be a technology confined to servers; it must become a "physical intelligence" that transforms industry and society.

Kim Nok-won, CEO of DeepX, a company specializing in ultra-low-power AI semiconductors, was recently invited as an official speaker to the 'New Drivers of Industry Transformation Meeting 2025' hosted by the World Economic Forum (WEF), where he presented his 'physical AI' technology vision together with global innovation leaders.

This presentation was an opportunity to share the achievements of the 'MINDS 2025' (Meaningful, Intelligent, Novel, Deployable Solutions) Award, which DeepX received for the first time in Korea.

The WEF evaluated over 100 global companies and selected innovative technologies that are transforming industries and society through AI, and DeepX was named along with global companies such as Foxconn, CATL, Siemens, Lenovo, and Fujitsu.

Kim Nok-won, CEO of DeepX, achieved more than twice the computational performance of GPUs with less than 5W of power through a collaborative project with Hyundai Motor Group Robotics Lab. We unveiled our robot AI solution.

This case is attracting attention from the global manufacturing and robotics markets in terms of energy efficiency, cost reduction, and system optimization, and is evaluated as a case that demonstrates the competitiveness of Korean AI semiconductor technology.

Additionally, in this session, Samsung unveiled its 2nm-based generative AI semiconductor technology and future development roadmap.

Through this, we presented a vision for next-generation core technologies to realize physical AI, and strengthened Korea's technological leadership in the AI semiconductor field.

Kim Nok-won, CEO of DeepX, emphasized, "DeepX is creating real value in robots, factories, cities, and people's lives through ultra-low-power, high-performance AI semiconductors. This WEF recognition demonstrates that Korean AI semiconductor technology is at the center of global industrial transformation."

Meanwhile, the WEF plans to jointly pursue key global agendas, including AI governance, sustainable supply chains, digital health, and future infrastructure, with the MINDS 2025 award-winning companies at the center over the next two years.
