AI semiconductor specialist Mobilint (CEO Dong-joo Shin) has won the CES Innovation Award for two consecutive years with its AI Box 'MLX-A1', setting a new standard for industrial edge AI PCs.

Mobilint announced on the 7th that it has won the Innovation Award in the Artificial Intelligence (AI) category at CES 2026, the world's largest IT exhibition, for the second consecutive year with its standalone edge AI PC 'MLX-A1'.

This is significant in that Mobilint's technological prowess has been continuously recognized in the global market, following its Innovation Award at CES 2025 last year for its high-efficiency semiconductor for on-device AI, 'REGULUS'.

The MLX-A1 is a compact AI PC based on Mobilint's high-performance, low-power NPU chip 'ARIES', which maximizes power efficiency by implementing a computing performance of up to 80 TOPS with a power consumption of less than 70W.

With just a power and network connection, it can be operated immediately in various industrial environments with simple setup, and AI can be implemented without restrictions even when retrofitting existing equipment or introducing new lines.
<br /> Power and cost savings of approximately 60% compared to GPUs are also expected.

At CES 2026, Mobilint will present a demo of directly operating various AI models, including vision, voice, and language, through the MLX-A1 under the slogan, “AI Starts Here.”

This allows for the field verification of real-time inference, low-latency response, and energy efficiency optimization technologies at the edge.

Mobilint has continuously developed the optimal semiconductor platform for efficient AI implementation in industrial settings, and through this award, it has once again proven its technological competitiveness in the industrial edge AI PC field.
