Canon Korea (CEO Park Jeong-woo) has further strengthened its optical solution portfolio to lead the era of hybrid photography by unveiling the new full-frame mirrorless camera 'EOS R6 Mark III' and large-diameter single-focus lens 'RF45mm F1.2 STM'.

Canon Korea has unveiled the EOS R6 Mark III and announced that it will be officially released on December 10th.

This new product delivers outstanding performance in both photos and videos, and is designed to satisfy a wide range of users, from professional creators to casual users.

The EOS R6 Mark III is equipped with a full-frame CMOS sensor with approximately 32.5 megapixels to produce high-quality images, and is capable of electronic high-speed continuous shooting at up to 40 frames per second and continuous shooting of up to 330 frames (JPEG standard).

A new pre-continuous shooting function that saves up to 20 shots with the shutter half-pressed has also been added, making it easier to capture decisive moments.

Additionally, the improved 5-axis image stabilization (IS) provides up to 8.5 stops of compensation and is compatible with most RF and EF lenses. It also supports high-speed storage with a dual-slot structure featuring a CFexpress Type B and UHS-II SD card slot.

The EOS R6 Mark III is the first EOS system mirrorless camera to support 7K Open Gate recording, and is also capable of 7K 60P RAW shooting and 4K 120P and 2K 180P high frame rate (HFR) shooting.

It achieves professional-level smooth focus transitions through focus acceleration/deceleration algorithms and video servo AF function, and field usability is also enhanced with the use of a tally lamp and HDMI Type-A terminal.

With the newly added 'Custom Picture Mode', 14 color filters, Canon Log 2, and LUT support, you can create cinematic videos without color correction.

The RF45mm F1.2 STM, which was also released, has a large F1.2 aperture and a 45mm focal length, expressing beautiful background blur and natural perspective.

Weighing approximately 346g, its compact and lightweight design offers excellent portability, and when paired with an APS-C sensor camera, it can also be used as a semi-telephoto lens. Another key feature is its ability to offer the depth of expression of a large-diameter lens at a reasonable price.

The price of the EOS R6 Mark III is 3,499,000 won for the body, 4,828,000 won for the 24-105 USM KIT, and 3,949,000 won for the 24-105 STM KIT. The RF45mm F1.2 STM will be available from November 21st and is priced at 579,000 won.

Canon Korea will be holding a pre-order event for the EOS R6 Mark III from November 18th to 25th, and will be giving away a limited quantity of genuine LP-E6P batteries as a gift to participating customers.
