HD Hyundai Marine Solutions has entered into a strategic partnership with Nozomi Networks, a leading global OT/IoT security solutions provider, to strengthen cybersecurity capabilities for marine vessels.

HD Hyundai Marine Solutions and Nozomi Networks signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for Marine Vessel Cyber Security Business Collaboration on the 19th in Seoul with key executives in attendance.

The purpose of this agreement is to establish an integrated security system that complies with global maritime security regulations by integrating Nozomi Networks' OT/IoT security technology with HD Hyundai Marine Solutions' marine vessel solutions.

Nozomi Networks is a global security company headquartered in San Francisco, USA, with a security research lab in Switzerland. It possesses world-class technology in OT and IoT security and is expanding its partner ecosystem through technology partnerships with various industries.

As global maritime security regulations, including those of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), have been strengthened, the importance of OT cybersecurity is rapidly increasing across the shipbuilding and marine industries. Accordingly, HD Hyundai Marine Solutions plans to integrate Nozomi's security technology into its cybersecurity solution, 'Hi-Secure,' to enable its customers to operate their vessels in a safer environment.
