Google Cloud has implemented an AI-native security architecture that proactively responds to social engineering attacks based on core Google Cloud solutions such as Vertex AI, Gemini models, and BigQuery.

Google Cloud announced on the 25th that East Security has collaborated with the company to enhance its AI-based family security platform, 'Al Yak Family Care.'

Recently, smishing and voice phishing are evolving into "long-term scams" that leverage AI to learn individuals' habits and interests over time. To counter these threats, ALYac Family Care loads data into BigQuery via Cloud Run and performs context- and intent-based analysis using Vertex AI and the Gemini model. This enables a more advanced threat response than traditional rule-based detection, achieving a detection accuracy of over 95% based on proof-of-concept (PoC) data.

Additionally, we implemented a privacy protection step that automatically masks sensitive information such as names and account numbers by applying the Cloud DLP API, and increased the damage blocking rate with a two-stage defense structure that combines message analysis and malicious app installation behavior. During the development process, we introduced an AI collaborative coding environment, reducing lead time by more than half, and also achieved results by reducing content production costs with an AI blog agent.

East Security plans to develop Al Yak Family Care into a "digital peace of mind agent" that protects the entire family, and Google Cloud will continue to contribute to improving the user experience by providing the latest AI technology.
