Roboligent and Wonik Robotics Join Forces on Humanoid Robot Technology

AI humanoids 'ROBIN' and 'Allegro Hand' integrated to accelerate global commercialization strategy.
Roboligent, an AI-based mobile humanoid robot development company, has joined hands with Wonik Robotics (CEO Kim Hak-rae), a robot hand and robot automation specialist, to develop humanoid robot technology.
Roboligent announced on the 25th that it signed an MOU with Wonik Robotics and will develop a new application model by integrating Roboligent's AI-based dual-arm mobile humanoid robot 'ROBIN' and Wonik Robotics' flagship technology, the robot hand 'Allegro Hand', and significantly improve precision manipulation capabilities and motion intelligence.
The two companies plan to pursue a phased collaboration focused on expanding the practical use environment for mobile humanoid technology, joint research and academic activities, technological exchanges, and data-based AI collaboration. Additionally, the company plans to accelerate its strategy for commercializing humanoid robots in the global market and discover application cases that can be utilized in various industrial fields.
Through this collaboration, Roboligent and Wonik Robotics are focusing on the growth potential of the mobile humanoid robot market and plan to further expand cooperation opportunities in the global market in the future.
“This collaboration is a significant step forward in realizing Roboligent’s vision of a ‘practical humanoid,’” said Roboligent CEO Bongsu Kim. “In particular, integration with Allegro Hand will further enhance Robin’s manipulation capabilities and work precision.”
Wonik Robotics CEO Kim Hak-rae said, “Our robotic automation capabilities will expand into the humanoid field,” and added, “We look forward to combining the technological strengths of both companies to create new application cases that can be utilized in various industrial fields.”
