Samsung Electronics presents the next-generation gaming experience with the world's first gaming monitor supporting 6K ultra-high resolution.

Samsung Electronics will unveil a new gaming monitor that supports the world's first 6K ultra-high resolution at the 'The First Look' event ahead of the opening of CES 2026 in Las Vegas, USA on January 4 (local time).

The products to be introduced this time are a total of five types: △32-inch glasses-free 3D monitor 'Odyssey 3D (G90XH)' △32-inch 'Odyssey G8 (G80HS)', the first gaming monitor to support 6K resolution △27-inch 'Odyssey G8 (G80HF)', which provides 5K resolution and 180Hz refresh rate △32-inch 'Odyssey OLED G8 (G80SH)', which supports 4K resolution and 240Hz refresh rate based on QD OLED △27-inch 'Odyssey G6 (G60H)', which is the world's first 1,040Hz ultra-high refresh rate.

The 'Odyssey 3D G9 (G90XH)' is the world's first model to apply 6K resolution to the glasses-free 3D method, and has a 32-inch large screen, a maximum refresh rate of 165Hz, and 1ms (GtG) It supports response speed. You can enjoy approximately 60 games in 3D quality, and it will also provide a high refresh rate environment with dual mode (3K·330Hz).

The 'Odyssey G8 (G80HS)' supports 6K resolution and 165Hz refresh rate in a 32-inch size, and can be switched to 3K/330Hz in dual mode. The 27-inch 'Odyssey G8 (G80HF)' offers 5K resolution and 180Hz refresh rate, and also supports QHD/360Hz high refresh rate mode. Both models are equipped with DisplayPort 2.1 and will be equipped with the latest gaming features such as NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro.

The QD OLED-based 'Odyssey OLED G8 (G80SH)' supports 4K resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate in a 32-inch size. Equipped with UHBR 20 Display Port 2.1, which provides up to 80Gbps of transmission bandwidth, it reliably implements HDR and VRR technologies, and boasts deep black expression with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification. It also features a USB-C port that supports up to 98W of charging.

Samsung Electronics will also unveil an ultra-high refresh rate model. The Odyssey G6 (G60H) supports QHD resolution and a 600Hz refresh rate, and when switched to dual mode, it can achieve up to 1,040Hz, making it optimized for eSports and high-performance gaming environments.

According to market research firm IDC, Samsung Electronics is cruising toward its seventh consecutive year of first place, recording an 18.8% share of the global gaming monitor market with a refresh rate of 144Hz or higher as of the third quarter of 2025. It has also maintained its global No. 1 position in the OLED gaming monitor market for three consecutive years with a 27.4% share.
