AMD has officially announced the price and release schedule of its next-generation desktop processor, the Ryzen 7 9850X3D.

The new product will be released globally on January 29th for $499, and features significantly improved performance compared to the existing X3D lineup.

According to AMD, the Ryzen 7 9850X3D has a boost clock that increases by 400MHz compared to its predecessor, the Ryzen 9800X3D, further enhancing its already top-notch gaming performance.

In particular, it was analyzed to provide gaming performance that is up to 27% higher on average than the competing product, Intel Core Ultra 9 285K.

This product features AMD's second-generation 3D V-Cache technology.

This significantly reduces the dependence on high-clocked memory, with AMD stating that “the FPS difference between DDR5-4800 and DDR5-6000 memory is less than 1% across over 30 games.”

This means that you can achieve optimal gaming performance without using expensive memory.

The Ryzen 7 9850X3D is aimed at the high-performance gaming PC market, and AMD emphasized that this launch will “provide new options for gamers and creators alike.”
