STMicroelectronics (ST), a global semiconductor company, has been selected as one of the Top 100 Global Innovators, strengthening its position as a semiconductor technology innovation company.

ST announced on the 26th that it was selected as one of the 'Top 100 Global Innovators 2026' by Clarivate, a global innovation evaluation organization.

ST has been named for five consecutive years since 2022, making it eighth overall winner this year, further solidifying its position as a global semiconductor technology innovator.

This year marks the 15th year that Clarivate has selected the Top 100 Global Innovators.

This evaluation analyzes and announces companies that consistently produce innovative inventions across industries worldwide, selecting innovative companies based on criteria such as the quality, originality, and global influence of their inventions.

The selected companies are evaluated as setting new standards for industrial innovation by presenting clear direction even in a complex technological environment.

The Global Top 100 Innovators list is based on analysis by Clarivate's IP and Innovation Research Center. The evaluation utilizes the proprietary Derwent Strength Index (DSI), which comprehensively measures the influence, success potential, rarity, and level of invention investment of an idea based on the Derwent World Patents Index (DWPI) and global invention data.
