Schneider Electric Korea announced on February 3, 2026 that it has revamped the curriculum of its technical training program, the Schneider Electric Academy, and opened a new course on data center solutions and transformers.

Since its launch in 2007, the Schneider Electric Academy has provided practical, industry-focused technical training. According to the company, more than 2,000 people will participate in training by 2025, marking the highest annual attendance ever.

Building on these achievements, the 2026 training program will expand to a total of 36 courses, divided into three areas: industry, automation, and electrical engineering. This includes practical training courses covering data centers, semiconductors, EV battery industries, smart factories, smart buildings, and electrical and industrial automation.

The newly launched "Data Center Solutions – Design and Applications" course covers the design skills necessary for data center construction and operation, including power system, UPS/battery, and cooling system design, as well as PUE improvement strategies. Offered twice a year, the course targets data center electrical, facility, and IT design, construction, and operations professionals.

The 'Transformer' course focuses on transformer structure and operating principles, and teaches types and selection criteria, insulation grades, maintenance, and failure case analysis. It also includes digital transformer monitoring and predictive maintenance based on EcoStruxure.

“In an environment where power infrastructure and industrial systems are rapidly changing, the ability to reliably implement them in the field is becoming increasingly important,” said Son Jang-ik, director of the Schneider Electric Academy. “Through the Academy, we are supporting people to understand and apply related technologies.”
