As artificial intelligence (AI) reshapes decision-making and workflow across design and manufacturing, the global manufacturing and engineering industry is coming together to discuss the direction of technological change.

Digital design and manufacturing strategies that combine AI and virtual environments are emerging as key topics in industries demanding both efficiency and sustainability in product development.

Dassault Systèmes announced on January 30 that it will hold '3DEXPERIENCE World 2026', an annual event for the SOLIDWORKS and 3DEXPERIENCE platform user community, in Houston, USA from February 1 to 4.

The event will be attended by thousands of users from around the world, sharing technological trends and industry changes from design to manufacturing.

Speakers at the event include NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang, inventor Pavlos Holman, and STEAM influencer Jay Vogler.

They plan to continue their discussion on the scalability of engineering and creativity, focusing on virtual environments and core technologies.

Dassault Systèmes celebrates its first anniversary with the launch of 3D Universe (3D UNIV+RSES), presenting an integrated AI vision encompassing assistive, predictive, and generative AI. Through this, we will introduce how AI operates as a tool for innovation across design, simulation, manufacturing, and governance, as well as practical application cases.

The event will feature keynote speeches by key executives from Dassault Systèmes and SolidWorks, as well as technical training and collaboration case studies centered on the user community. Furthermore, programs involving students, startups, and manufacturing companies will explore the potential for connecting next-generation engineering talent with the industrial workplace.
