Siemens Named a Leader in Gartner's Magic Quadrant for Quality Management System (QMS) Software

Siemens announced that it has been named a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Quality Management System (QMS) Software.
Siemens announced this selection in a statement released in Seoul on February 4, 2026, explaining that Gartner defines a leader as a QMS provider that comprehensively supports regulatory compliance, risk management, and process improvement needs.
Regarding this evaluation, Volker Albrecht, CEO of Siemens Digital Logistics and head of the Digital Manufacturing business unit of Siemens Digital Industries Software, said, “We have been providing an integrated quality management approach by integrating generative AI, predictive analytics, extended reality (XR), digital twins, and IoT into the quality lifecycle.”
According to Siemens, its QMS software, based on Teamcenter X Quality and Opcenter X Quality, connects design, manufacturing and operations to strengthen traceability and support workflow standardization. It is explained that the purpose is to help continuous improvement across regulated industries.
The technology is also part of the Siemens Xcelerator industrial software portfolio, designed to connect each stage of the quality management lifecycle with product lifecycle management (PLM), manufacturing execution software (MES), and the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), the company said.
