SAP Korea will host a forum to share AI-based innovation strategies for manufacturing and supply chains. The event's focus is on strengthening the competitiveness of domestic manufacturing companies amidst the changing global industrial landscape.

SAP Korea announced on the 10th that it will hold 'SAP Connect Day for Supply Chain' for manufacturing and supply chain innovation at the Chosun Palace Hotel in Yeoksam-dong, Seoul on February 19th.

This seminar, a preview of the key content of Hannover Messe 2026, the world's largest industrial fair, will cover the manufacturing and supply chain innovation trends centered on AI-based autonomy and connectivity. SAP Korea plans to share the latest trends and future directions of agentic AI and physical AI technologies applied to actual manufacturing and supply chain operations.

In the keynote speech, Dominik Metzger, Chief Product Officer (CPO) of SAP Supply Chain Management, will present SAP's global supply chain strategy under the theme of "Implementing a Connected Enterprise with an AI-powered Optimized Supply Chain." Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Hagen Heubach will then introduce the key showcases that will be unveiled at Hannover Messe 2026 and guide visitors through related programs such as on-site booth tours and live forums.

The afternoon session will begin with a presentation by Han Kyu-heon, Executive Director of the Hyundai Glovis Future Innovation Center, and will share examples of supply chain innovations from major domestic manufacturing companies. Focusing on key industries such as automobiles, semiconductors, and secondary batteries, the session will showcase SAP IBP-based supply chain optimization cases, logistics innovation, and digital thread strategies for implementing smart factories.

Shin Eun-young, CEO of SAP Korea, said, “AI technology in the supply chain has now gone beyond the concept and entered the stage of implementing autonomy and connectivity in actual manufacturing sites.” She added, “This event will be an opportunity for domestic manufacturing companies to understand the technological trends of Hannover Messe in advance and explore data-driven decision-making strategies.”
