10W suction power, AI liquid recognition, and enhanced IoT security certification… Domestic sales begin on March 3rd.

Samsung Electronics has launched its 2026 "Bespoke AI Steam" robot vacuum cleaner in the domestic market. This product features improved suction power and AI-based driving performance, as well as IoT security features and a subscription service. The lineup consists of three models: Ultra, Plus, and Standard.

Samsung Electronics will hold pre-sales for the "Bespoke AI Steam Ultra" from the 11th to the 2nd of next month at Samsung Stores nationwide, Samsung.com, and Naver's online store. The official launch is March 3rd, and the standard model will be available starting in April. Pre-order customers will receive an accessory kit worth 120,000 won.

The new product supports up to 10W of suction power based on our own testing standards, which reference the international standard IEC 62885-4, Section 5.8. The Ultra and Plus models boast up to twice the performance of previous models. They utilize an RGB camera and infrared LEDs to recognize both colored and transparent liquids, and feature an "EasyPass Wheel" that clears thresholds of up to 45mm. The "Pop-Out Combo" feature extends the cleaning range on walls and corners.

Hygiene management functions have also been strengthened. The company claims the Steam Clean Station uses 100°C steam to kill 99.999% of bacteria on the mop's surface. The automatic water supply and drainage model automatically handles water supply and wastewater discharge through the connection of water and drain pipes.

Security features include Knox Matrix and Knox Vault. This system allows for cross-checking of the security status of devices connected to SmartThings, and hardware security chip-based personal information protection features are implemented. End-to-end encryption technology is applied to captured images and video data. This product received the highest rating of Diamond in the UL Solutions IoT Security Assessment and the Standard Plus rating in IoT security certification from the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA).

Post-purchase services have also been expanded. Through the "AI Subscription Club," customers can choose between regular consumable delivery or on-site inspection services, and free repairs are provided during the subscription period. Customers purchasing automatic water supply and drainage models can enjoy one-stop service, including furniture remodeling and installation. Dedicated staff are available at 117 of the 169 service centers nationwide.

The Ultra automatic water supply model is priced at 2.04 million won, and the freestanding model is priced at 1.86 million won. The Plus models are priced at 1.94 million won and 1.76 million won, respectively, while the standard models are priced at 1.59 million won and 1.41 million won. Samsung Electronics stated that these products feature enhanced core features and security.
