As vehicle software architecture shifts towards domain-based ECUs and high-performance computers (HPCs), a development tool supporting high-precision measurement and real-time ADAS verification has been released.

On February 19, Vector Korea (CEO Jang Ji-hwan) announced the launch of 'CANape 24,' which supports high-precision measurement, calibration, and real-time ADAS verification in a Hyundai vehicle architecture environment.

Recent vehicles are forming complex software integration environments based on domain-specific ECUs and a centralized HPC architecture. Accordingly, the importance of precise measurement of large volumes of data, efficient analysis, and algorithm verification is increasing. CANape 24 is designed to provide integrated data collection, analysis, correction, and verification functions to meet these structural changes.

The new product newly supports ASAM CMP (Common Measurement Protocol), enabling high-speed and high-precision measurement in area-type ECU and HPC-based environments. It also maintains compatibility with existing automotive communication standards such as CAN, FlexRay, LIN, and Ethernet (xBASE-T1). It also provides calibration and visualization capabilities for complex ECU architectures, including dynamic SOME/IP data structures.

In terms of ADAS function verification, recognition results based on cameras, radar, and LiDAR sensors can be checked in real time. It enables direct verification of algorithm operations by visualizing drivable areas and obstacle information.

Logging capabilities have also been enhanced. It provides 'vLoggerControlRoom,' which enables real-time monitoring of vehicles equipped with GL Loggers and Smart Loggers, and supports 100GB of cloud storage by default. Data exchange via Vector Team Service and hard disk encryption for the VP75x1 platform are also included.

Vector Korea announced that through this product, it will support OEMs, parts suppliers, and development service companies in more efficiently calibrating and verifying increasingly complex vehicle functions.
